We’re focusing on China but in reality what we need is a worldwide product protection. Maybe this needs to part of a bigger effort - a part of the World Product Forum or World Product Foundation - products that are made with world product practices.
Practices need to include:
Worker context
Environmental context
End-user context
Other?

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackWe want to be the UL for world product accountabilty. We would need a set of criteria for accreditation. We become the central clearinghouse for accreiting the practices of companies:
Fair labor, environmental protection, safety, fair pricing practices, etc.
Sort of a “super green” designation. Not just environmentally friendly, human friendly as well. Need a label: Super Green; WPF Approved; WSP (World Safe Product); Humanity Approved.
